short travel update (Mirai, Japan)

[This is day #23 of my 30-day microblogging challenge. You can and should still join!

For today’s microblog I’ll just write a short personal travel update. I’m planning to attend Mirai Tech City (longevity popup city) in Kobe, Japan during October 1-31 (2026). I’m planning to visit a few other cities and I’d love to connect with cool communities & folks over there (for this trip I’ll be mostly focused on biotech, neurotech, etc). If anyone reading this has recommendations, please let me know!

I’m excited about it twofold:

1. I’m looking forward to being immersed in an environment where the topic of accelerating biotech and potential solutions to aging is discussed daily

Visiting Japan has been a lifelong dream! I can’t wait to visit Akihabara

I’m looking forward to getting to learn more about the Asian bio ecosystem. I’d love to visit China next!
